Legal Associate – Litigation & Corporate Law

About the role

MTS Legal is seeking a full‑time Legal Associate to join its Kochi office. You will work closely with partners and senior lawyers, handling a variety of corporate, litigation, and regulatory matters for high‑profile clients.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and interpret statutes and case law.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, tribunals, and arbitration hearings.
• Provide strategic legal advice and prepare litigation reports.
• Liaise with clients to understand their needs and ensure timely case updates.
• Collaborate with partners on case preparation and innovative problem‑solving.

Required profile

• Bar certification with an LLB or LLM degree.
• Strong analytical and drafting abilities.
• Experience in litigation, advocacy, and case representation.
• Knowledge of corporate law, taxation, arbitration, labor law, and intellectual property.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and teamwork skills.
• Prior experience with corporate or public‑sector clients is a plus.
