Legal Associate – Corporate & Compliance

About the role

This position is designed for a lawyer who wants to work at the crossroads of corporate law, technology and compliance. You will partner with the management team and external counsel to support corporate structuring, contracts and governance, while also helping to train the company’s AI agent on legal matters.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and maintain board resolutions, company policies, contracts and internal governance documents.
• Ensure statutory compliance with the Companies Act, 2013 and other applicable regulations.
• Liaise with the Registrar of Companies, banks and regulatory bodies as required.
• Assist in data governance, digital policy formation and compliance with the IT Act.
• Draft and review data‑protection, information‑security and vendor agreements.
• Coordinate with senior advocates and external counsel on corporate and regulatory matters.
• Prepare summaries, filings and documentation for legal or compliance proceedings.
• Maintain an organized repository of legal records and corporate filings.
• Identify potential risks and propose preventive strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Train the AI agent on company legal matters, converting processes into decision trees, prompts and workflow logic.
• Review AI‑generated legal outputs for accuracy and compliance.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of corporate, commercial and operational legal processes.
• Interest in AI, automation and legal technology.
• Ability to translate complex legal frameworks into practical business steps.
• Initiative, clarity of thought and attention to detail.
