Lead Travel Consultant

About the role

As a Lead Travel Consultant you will work from home to provide high‑touch travel and accommodation solutions for Amex GBT’s top corporate clients. You will collaborate with a team to deliver creative, timely travel options while ensuring an outstanding service experience.

Key responsibilities

• Advise and arrange travel for corporate individuals and groups, both domestic and international.
• Book air, road, rail, and hotel reservations using a variety of Global Distribution Systems.
• Communicate with customers via phone, chat, email, and back‑office tools.
• Act as a trusted advisor, proactively offering additional services while respecting client travel policies.
• Meet account‑specific goals such as customer satisfaction, call adherence, and service metrics.

Required profile

• Previous experience in business travel and knowledge of fares and ticketing rules.
• Passion for client service with strong attention to detail and integrity.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to resolve customer issues independently and work well in a team.

Required skills

• Native expertise in at least one GDS: Sabre, Apollo, Amadeus, or Galileo.
