Lead Jenkins Administrator

About the role

The Automation Frameworks team at Mastercard is looking for a Lead Jenkins Administrator to drive DevOps automation, build CI/CD pipelines and set standards across development, quality, release and product groups.

Key responsibilities

• Own development, testing and deployment tasks for application components.
• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD flows using Jenkins, Maven, Git/BitBucket and Artifactory.
• Administer Jenkins (CloudBees or open‑source) and write robust pipelines.
• Integrate builds with Sonar, Chef, Ansible, Terraform and other tooling.
• Troubleshoot, refactor existing code and adopt new languages or architectural patterns.
• Influence team decisions, mentor peers and promote automation best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and passion for automation.
• Experience designing end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines that move code from development to production with minimal manual effort.
• Ability to work independently, guide less‑experienced team members and continuously learn.
