Lead HR Business Partner – South Region (Bangalore)

About the role

We are seeking a Lead HR Business Partner for the South region, based in Bangalore, to drive end‑to‑end talent acquisition and HR partnership aligned with our growth objectives in the BFSI sector, preferably life insurance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute talent acquisition strategies that support business growth plans and workforce forecasts.
• Partner with senior leadership to define hiring priorities, budgets and talent pipelines across functions.
• Act as a strategic hiring advisor, conducting regular hiring reviews and optimizing recruitment processes.
• Lead and mentor recruitment teams, enhancing sourcing effectiveness, candidate experience and closure rates.
• Manage external vendors, job portals and recruitment agencies to ensure quality pipelines and cost efficiency.
• Track and analyse recruitment metrics (time‑to‑fill, cost‑per‑hire, offer‑to‑join ratio, drop‑offs) to identify bottlenecks and improve efficiency.
• Strengthen employer branding initiatives and ensure a seamless candidate experience.
• Coordinate with Centres of Excellence for clearances, due‑diligence and field HR interventions.

Required profile

• Minimum 8‑10 years of HR experience with a focus on talent acquisition and business partnering.
• Proven track record in the BFSI sector, preferably life insurance.
• Strong leadership and team‑building capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills with senior business heads.
• Data‑driven mindset with ability to use recruitment analytics for decision‑making.
