Lead – EV Transmission Validation (eAxle)

About the role

We are seeking a Lead for EV Transmission Validation (eAxle) to drive validation activities for gear systems, differentials and related components at Bosch’s Bangalore development centre. The role involves defining validation strategies, executing bench and vehicle tests, and ensuring compliance with automotive standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own validation plans aligned with system requirements and OEM standards.
• Establish validation scope for gear systems, differentials, housings, bearings and lubrication.
• Lead bench (dyno) and vehicle‑level testing covering durability, reliability, NVH, thermal and efficiency.
• Coordinate with test labs, suppliers and cross‑functional teams.
• Perform data analysis, root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain end‑to‑end traceability using DOORS/Polarion and support FMEA updates.
• Interface with design, simulation, manufacturing and global OEM stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
• 5‑8 years of experience in automotive transmission or eAxle validation.
• Proven ability to lead validation work packages and mentor junior engineers.
• Strong understanding of automotive quality processes and risk management.

Required skills

• EV transmission systems (eAxle, gearbox, differential).
• Gear design, bearings and lubrication fundamentals.
• Validation domains: NVH, durability, thermal, efficiency.
• MATLAB, DIAdem, INCA for data analysis.
• DOORS, Polarion for requirements management.
• APIS IQ‑FMEA.
