Lead Architect – Network & Data Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Architect – Network & Data Infrastructure to own the end‑to‑end architecture, governance and evolution of Lennox’s enterprise network platforms, covering LAN, WAN, SD‑WAN and wireless domains.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise network architecture standards, reference designs and technology roadmaps for Cisco and Aruba solutions.
• Design, deploy and optimize high‑availability network solutions, including dynamic routing (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP) and Aruba wireless platforms.
• Lead incident response as the final escalation authority, conduct root‑cause analysis and drive corrective actions to improve MTTR.
• Architect security controls, oversee vulnerability identification and remediation using tools such as Rapid7, Nessus or Qualys.
• Establish monitoring, observability and automation standards with SolarWinds, PRTG, Fluke and scripting frameworks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field (or equivalent certifications).
• 12+ years of progressive experience designing and managing enterprise‑scale network environments.
• Proven leadership in high‑severity incidents and ability to influence cross‑functional teams without direct authority.

Required skills

• Cisco switching, routing, wireless and SD‑WAN platforms.
• Deep knowledge of OSPF, EIGRP and BGP in large‑scale environments.
• Aruba wireless architecture and optimization techniques.
• Vulnerability management tools: Rapid7, Nessus, Qualys.
• Network monitoring tools: SolarWinds, PRTG, Fluke.
• Network automation frameworks and scripting.
• Relevant certifications: CCNP, ACMA, ACSDP (CCIE a plus).
