About the role

Bark is a fast‑growing online services marketplace that connects customers with professional sellers across hundreds of categories. As a Key Account Manager you will own and grow a portfolio of high‑value Australian seller accounts, driving retention, spend growth and consultative development during a pivotal transformation of the business.

Key responsibilities

  • Own and expand a portfolio of key Australian seller accounts, ensuring retention and revenue growth.
  • Conduct consultative account reviews, advising on lead selection, category expansion, response behaviour, sales processes and data accuracy.
  • Drive monthly spend growth through value‑led conversations rather than discounting.
  • Identify at‑risk accounts early and intervene with commercial and coaching levers to reduce churn.
  • Lead commercial and pricing discussions, applying Bark’s pricing frameworks to protect margin while supporting growth.
  • Maintain accurate account data and forecasting in the CRM system.

Required profile

  • Proven experience managing high‑value seller or key accounts.
  • Strong consultative selling and commercial advisory skills.
  • Data‑driven mindset with ability to analyse performance metrics.
  • Excellent relationship‑building capabilities to develop long‑term trusted partnerships.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with CRM systems and account forecasting.
  • Data analysis and reporting skills.
