Junior Frontend Engineer – HTML/CSS (Freelancer)

About the role

Deccan AI Experts is seeking a Junior Frontend Engineer specialized in HTML and CSS on a freelance basis. You will work remotely with global AI and engineering teams to evaluate and improve AI‑generated frontend code, ensuring it meets production‑quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Create web page layouts, responsive components, and styling implementations for common AI‑generated requests.
• Annotate and evaluate HTML/CSS outputs across diverse frontend scenarios.
• Review peer‑produced deliverables to maintain consistency and research quality.
• Diagnose real‑world UI challenges to enhance AI reasoning capabilities.
• Assess code for responsiveness, accessibility, maintainability, and visual consistency.
• Identify bugs, styling inconsistencies, layout issues, or inefficient implementations and provide structured feedback.
• Contribute domain expertise to refine AI models focused on frontend development.

Required profile

• Background in Computer Science, Web Development, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive web design principles.
• Familiarity with modern frontend workflows and browser compatibility considerations.
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript and frontend frameworks is a plus.
• Ability to critically evaluate UI layouts, styling approaches, and code quality.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and ability to work independently in a remote, fast‑paced environment.
