Junior Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Vadodara

About the role

Reliance Industries Limited is looking for a Junior Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join its Vadodara site. The role involves maintaining, troubleshooting and improving electrical equipment to ensure reliable plant operation while adhering to strict safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and corrective maintenance on electrical machinery, control systems and wiring.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of electrical failures and implement corrective actions.
• Install, test and commission new electrical wiring and components.
• Execute diagnostic and functional tests using modern testing equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports and technical documentation.
• Interpret circuit diagrams and schematics to resolve issues efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with internal and statutory safety regulations, reporting hazards and near‑misses.
• Assist with PLC programming adjustments and routine checks.
• Support HVAC electrical maintenance and integration with site infrastructure.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of relevant electrical maintenance experience.
• Strong ability to perform root‑cause analysis and fault identification.
• Hands‑on experience with electrical wiring installation and inspection.
• Proficiency in electrical testing and preventive maintenance planning.
• Ability to read and work with detailed circuit diagrams and schematics.
• Knowledge of safety compliance protocols for electrical work.
• Basic understanding of PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Exposure to HVAC systems maintenance.
