Junior Company Secretary – Capital Markets & Merchant Banking

About the role

Indigo Group is seeking a Junior Company Secretary (Semi‑Qualified) to support corporate compliance, governance and legal matters within its Capital Markets & Merchant Banking division. You will work closely with senior company secretaries and the legal team to ensure timely regulatory filings and effective stakeholder communication.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file statutory documents with RoC, SEBI and MCA in accordance with the Companies Act and SEBI guidelines.
• Monitor regulatory updates and ensure ongoing legal compliance.
• Assist in organizing board, committee and AGM meetings, including drafting notices, agendas and minutes.
• Maintain statutory registers, share and director records, and safeguard corporate documents.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities on behalf of the company and respond to legal queries.
• Conduct research on Indian corporate laws and draft/review agreements, MoUs, contracts and resolutions.
• Support senior company secretaries in daily tasks, policy drafting and annual filings.

Required profile

• Semi‑qualified Company Secretary or equivalent legal qualification.
• Hands‑on experience with compliance filings, record‑keeping and legal document management.
• Solid understanding of Indian corporate laws, Companies Act, SEBI and MCA regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
