Junior Accountant – GST & Tally Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join our dynamic CA firm in Kolkata. The successful candidate will handle day‑to‑day accounting tasks while ensuring full compliance with GST and Income Tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and file GST returns and other statutory compliance documents.
• Handle income tax filings and ensure adherence to tax laws.
• Prepare client financial statements and manage client accounts.
• Assist with internal and external audits and meet statutory reporting requirements.

Required profile

• B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce) degree.
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of GST regulations.
• Proficiency with Income Tax laws.
• Hands‑on experience with Tally accounting software.
