Junior Accountant – GST & Tally Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join our dynamic CA firm in Kolkata. The successful candidate will handle core accounting tasks, ensure tax compliance, and support client financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and file GST returns and other statutory compliance documents.
• Handle income tax filings, ensuring adherence to applicable laws.
• Maintain client accounts, generate financial statements, and assist with audits.
• Support statutory reporting and other regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce) degree.
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• GST compliance and filing.
• Income Tax regulations and filing.
• Proficiency with Tally accounting software.
