IT Operations & Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an IT Operations & Infrastructure Engineer to manage and support our Linux‑based servers. The role focuses on ensuring system stability, high availability and efficient incident resolution across a range of enterprise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade and maintain Linux servers (SUSE, Ubuntu, RedHat, CentOS).
• Monitor system performance, handle help‑desk tickets and generate operational reports.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, escalating when necessary.
• Apply security patches, manage backups and support virtualization platforms.
• Provide application support for internal teams and business‑critical services.
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement changes following change‑management procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–4 years of hands‑on experience managing Linux servers in an enterprise setting.
• Good understanding of IT operational processes and monitoring tools.

Required skills

• Linux system installation, configuration and administration (SUSE, Ubuntu, RedHat, CentOS).
• Scripting with Bash, Python or Perl.
• Knowledge of system security, patch management and backup procedures.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and KVM.
• Familiarity with cloud environments is a plus.
