Internal Audit Manager – Manufacturing (Mumbai)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager to join a large manufacturing group operating in steel, paper, plastics and related sectors. The role is based in Andheri West, Mumbai, with periodic travel to Nigeria for audit assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and report internal audits across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Assess compliance with internal policies, industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify control weaknesses, recommend corrective actions and follow up on implementation.
• Coordinate audit schedules with local teams and international stakeholders.
• Prepare audit documentation and present findings to senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in internal audit within the manufacturing sector.
• Willingness to travel to Nigeria approximately once every two months.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills in English.
