Interior Design Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an Interior Design Consultant to lead design projects for HomeLane customers in Bangalore. You will guide clients from the initial meeting through design finalisation, quoting and preparation of production drawings.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the lead designer for assigned residential projects, managing the full design cycle.
• Collaborate closely with customers to understand their needs, budget and aesthetic preferences.
• Prepare detailed design proposals, quotations and production‑ready drawings.
• Prioritise and execute multiple projects simultaneously while meeting agreed timelines.
• Analyse sales reports, project turnaround times and customer satisfaction metrics.

Required profile

• Minimum 2‑year Diploma in Interior Designing or Architecture from a recognised institution.
• Hands‑on site experience with confidence that designs can be installed smoothly.
• Customer‑centric mindset, delivering functional, aesthetically pleasing solutions within budget.
• Experience in residential projects is mandatory.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of the local language is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Sketchup.
