Indie Film Line Producer (Scheduling & Budgeting)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and passionate line producer to join our indie team and help bring an upcoming feature film to life. The role focuses on managing the production schedule and budget while supporting the creative vision.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules, coordinating with department heads to ensure realistic timelines.
• Prepare, monitor, and control the film’s budget, tracking expenses and reporting variances.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors, crew, and locations, ensuring cost‑effective agreements.
• Facilitate daily production meetings, providing updates on schedule adherence and financial status.
• Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to keep the project on track.

Required profile

• Proven experience in line producing or production management for independent films.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with creative and technical teams.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing production needs and tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Expertise in production scheduling and budgeting processes.
• Ability to use budgeting and scheduling software commonly employed in film production.
