Independent Contract Attorney – Remote (AI Training)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced attorney to join our client’s team on a contract basis. Working remotely, you will apply your contract law expertise to train next‑generation AI systems by evaluating and refining model outputs in simulated negotiation and redlining scenarios across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises, assessing AI‑generated suggestions for accuracy, risk, and legal soundness.
• Review AI responses to contract scenarios and provide detailed feedback to improve model performance.
• Collaborate with product and research teams to shape training data, annotation guidelines, and evaluation criteria.
• Identify gaps or inconsistencies in AI‑generated drafts and propose corrections aligned with legal standards.
• Ensure high‑quality legal input that enhances the reliability of AI‑driven contract drafting tools.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience drafting, reviewing, or negotiating contracts in a legal or corporate setting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to assess legal risks.
• Familiarity with SaaS contracts and technology transactions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
