ICU Staff Nurse – East of Kailash, New Delhi

About the role

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at East of Kailash seeks a dedicated Staff Nurse to provide high‑quality care to critically ill patients. Working closely with intensivists and anesthetists, you will play a pivotal role in monitoring, treatment, and recovery processes.

Key responsibilities

• Observe and assess patient vital signs, initiating timely medical interventions.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Identify and address potential complications such as infections, bleeding, or respiratory issues.
• Manage pain levels and administer prescribed analgesics.
• Follow strict hygiene and safety protocols to prevent infection transmission.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families during critical periods.
• Maintain accurate patient records of interventions, responses, and condition changes.
• Manage inventory of medicines and consumables, ensuring adequate stock.
• Check biomedical equipment functionality and maintain related checklists.
• Maintain the crash cart trolley and ensure readiness.
• Prepare patients for discharge, confirming stability and delivering discharge instructions.
• Participate in continuous quality‑improvement and training programs.

Required profile

• Diploma or B.Sc. in Nursing.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in ICU or HDU settings.
• Proficiency in handling emergency medical equipment.
• Adherence to specified dress code and ID badge requirements.
• Ability to work scheduled duty hours as required.
