IB Teacher Librarian – Jaipur, Rajasthan

About the role

We are looking for an innovative Teacher Librarian to lead our school library and information services. The role supports the International Baccalaureate (IB) continuum by fostering reading, inquiry, research, and information literacy across all year groups.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop the library as a dynamic learning hub aligned with the IB philosophy.
• Curate and maintain a diverse, inclusive collection of print and digital resources.
• Guide students in independent research, exhibitions, personal projects, and extended essays.
• Organise book fairs, author visits, reading challenges, literary events and other library activities.
• Provide reading recommendations tailored to students’ interests and developmental levels.
• Oversee cataloguing, circulation, inventory management and resource acquisition.
• Manage library budgets and recommend purchases of books, databases, subscriptions and digital resources.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Library and Information Science (or related field).
• Teaching qualification (B.Ed. or equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience in a school library or educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of information literacy and research methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English.
