Human Resources Generalist

About the role

The Human Resources Generalist will serve as the primary HR partner for a growing manufacturing facility of 100‑300 employees. You will provide end‑to‑end HR support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with Indian labour legislation and fostering a positive employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Advise managers and employees on benefits, payroll, policies, and procedures.
• Partner with departmental heads to assess staffing needs, lead recruitment, interview, hire and onboard qualified candidates.
• Maintain and update organization charts, employee files, and related documentation.
• Participate in setting department goals, developing HR processes, and recommending improvements.
• Monitor federal, state and local employment regulations and communicate impacts to HR leadership.
• Support performance management, employee relations, workforce planning, HR operations and payroll administration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Team player able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple competing tasks.
• Strong oral, written and presentation communication skills.
