HR Business Partner – Bangalore

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to support our rapidly growing Engineering and Customer Operations teams in Bangalore. The role will manage core HR activities across the employee lifecycle, partner with managers and HRBPs, and help create a compliant, high‑performing workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to meet hiring needs and provide visibility into progress, challenges and risks.
• Coordinate onsite hiring events, including panel scheduling, information sessions and logistics.
• Track hiring metrics, fallout rates and dashboards in partnership with the TA COE and help improve hiring processes.
• Serve as point of contact for employee queries on HR policies, directing them to the appropriate resources.
• Address basic employee‑relations concerns and escalate complex cases as needed.
• Assist in performance‑management processes such as goal setting, reviews and documentation.
• Support coordination of onsite learning, development programs and capability‑building workshops.
• Partner with managers and HRBPs on HR best practices, policy implementation and updates in line with local laws.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and act as administrator for new‑hire programs.
• Foster a strong sense of belonging to Fortive values and sense colleague sentiment to identify engagement opportunities.
• Enable site‑level manager practices, coordinate cultural events, team‑building activities and deliver a consistent onsite onboarding experience.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with India labour laws.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
