About the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Housekeeping Lecturer to join our academic team. The successful candidate will blend practical expertise from a 5‑star hotel environment with strong teaching abilities to prepare students for successful careers in the hospitality industry.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lectures and practical training sessions on housekeeping operations, room maintenance, cleaning procedures, hygiene standards, and guest service.
• Prepare lesson plans, presentations, assignments, and study materials tailored to industry standards.
• Conduct demonstrations, workshops, classroom activities, and hands‑on lab sessions.
• Assess student performance through examinations, projects, and practical assessments.
• Guide and mentor students for internships, placements, and career development.
• Maintain academic standards, discipline, and safety within classrooms and practical labs.
• Participate in curriculum development, academic planning, and institutional activities.
• Stay updated with industry trends and integrate best practices into teaching.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in a reputable 5‑star hotel, preferably in the housekeeping department.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, hospitality standards, and guest service.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and teaching abilities.
• Ability to combine practical industry experience with academic instruction.
• Teaching, training, or mentoring experience is an advantage.
