About the role
The Health Safety Environment (HSE) Officer will lead the overall HSE management for our Mangalore location. You will ensure that risk assessments, compliance, training, and ESG reporting are aligned with international standards and local regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessments in line with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to implement HSE policies and procedures.
- Plan and deliver HSE training programs and awareness sessions for employees and stakeholders.
- Monitor, track, and report HSE performance metrics on a periodic basis.
- Facilitate regular team meetings to review incidents, track progress on initiatives, and drive continuous improvement.
- Identify and ensure compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory HSE requirements.
- Review and update HSE management plans and procedures periodically.
- Ensure all incidents are reported, analyzed, and corrective actions are implemented effectively.
- Coordinate and manage internal and external HSE audits, ensuring timely closure of observations and corrective actions.
- Collect, validate, and report ESG data in alignment with organizational and regulatory requirements.
