Head of Talent Acquisition – Lead Recruitment Strategy

About the role

We are seeking a highly execution‑driven Head of Talent Acquisition to lead and strengthen our recruitment function in Mumbai. The role combines strategic workforce planning with hands‑on management of recruiters to ensure timely, high‑quality hires while controlling costs.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a structured hiring roadmap aligned with business growth, ensuring critical positions are filled within defined SLA timelines.
• Own end‑to‑end hiring across all functions, define and enforce hiring SLAs, monitor pipelines daily and intervene in slow‑moving positions.
• Manage and mentor internal recruiters, track KPIs such as CV‑to‑interview ratio, offer ratio, joining ratio and turnaround time, and improve screening quality.
• Reduce dependency on external agencies, negotiate terms, track cost‑per‑hire and develop internal sourcing channels.
• Elevate quality‑of‑hire standards, implement structured pre‑screening frameworks and reduce early attrition.
• Maintain hiring dashboards, report weekly to leadership and resolve bottlenecks quickly.
• Enhance employer branding and candidate experience through professional communication at every hiring stage.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably in a leadership role.
• Proven ability to design and execute hiring strategies that meet business growth targets.
• Hands‑on leadership style with ownership of hiring pipelines, recruiter productivity and cost efficiency.
• Strong analytical mindset to track metrics, identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
