Head of Security

About the role

The Head of Security will lead site security operations for a major Indian infrastructure and logistics conglomerate. Reporting to senior management, this role ensures the safety of employees, stakeholders, and critical assets while aligning security initiatives with the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate and implement comprehensive security strategies across all sites.
• Identify threats, develop security plans, and standardise security processes and SOPs.
• Prepare and manage the site security budget, ensuring financial discipline.
• Conduct detailed security risk assessments, address audit findings and implement mitigation measures.
• Develop crisis response plans, oversee the Quick Response Team’s readiness, and manage incident resolution.
• Lead security‑related automation and infrastructure projects, delivering ROI and cost savings.
• Integrate security projects with site operations and monitor performance against the group security roadmap.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading site security operations in a large‑scale organization.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare, monitor and control security budgets.
• Expertise in conducting comprehensive security risk assessments and implementing mitigation plans.
• Experience developing crisis response plans and managing rapid‑response teams.
• Strong project management skills for security‑related initiatives.
