Head of Print Supplier Management

About the role

We are looking for a strategic leader to head our Print Supplier Management function. In this senior role you will drive performance, risk management and value creation across our key printing partners, ensuring high‑quality, cost‑effective supply for books and journals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage strategic supplier performance through scorecards, KPIs, regular reviews and corrective actions.
• Oversee the full contract lifecycle, monitoring obligations, pricing and service commitments.
• Support sourcing activities, including RFPs, RFIs, supplier assessments and onboarding.
• Track spend, volumes and cost trends; verify invoices and identify savings opportunities.
• Assess and mitigate operational, financial, geopolitical, cybersecurity, sustainability and compliance risks.
• Ensure supplier compliance with company policies, regulations and ethical standards.
• Maintain dashboards, analyse data and provide insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Operations, Finance, Risk, Legal and other functions to promote an integrated supply chain.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Extensive experience in supplier management, preferably within print or publishing environments.
• Proven track record of leading cross‑functional teams and managing large‑scale contracts.
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen with a focus on continuous improvement.
