About the role
The Guest Service Officer will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering a high standard of hospitality and ensuring a seamless experience throughout their stay. Based in the front office, you will support the reception team in daily operations and uphold the hotel's service standards.
Key responsibilities
- Provide excellent and consistent service to all guests, addressing their needs promptly.
- Ensure smooth and efficient operation of the reception area, including check‑ins, check‑outs and reservations.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints and special requests with professionalism.
- Maintain accurate guest records and coordinate with housekeeping and other rooms‑division departments.
- Process payments, billing and other front‑desk transactions accurately.
- Keep the lobby and reception area tidy, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
Required profile
- Diploma or qualification in Hospitality or Tourism Management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced front‑office environment.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
