Finance Team Member – Tax & Commercial Support

About the role

The Finance Team Member will provide commercial and tax support to the P&C division, ensuring smooth operations through accurate tax, finance, and legal inputs. The role focuses on tax optimization, purchase order validation, and coordination with procurement and project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate purchase orders and contracts from commercial and finance perspectives.
• Optimize direct and indirect taxes, including GST, DTAA, and withholding tax.
• Provide tax advice for foreign contracts and support procurement on special jobs.
• Coordinate with IDT/DT teams on taxation issues related to procurement.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, labour law, and insurance requirements in PO/WO.
• Analyze cost‑benefit of purchase vs leasing, compare rates, and validate cost‑plus markup estimates.
• Prepare periodic MIS reports as per management guidelines.

Required profile

• CA/ICWA qualification with 2‑4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in accounts payable, payments validation, or commercial finance.
• Strong knowledge of procurement and contracting processes.
• Good analytical ability and commercial acumen.
