Finance Faculty Position (Assistant/Associate/Professor)

About the role

Uttaranchal University is seeking qualified candidates for a full‑time faculty position in Finance at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor. The role involves teaching, research, and service within the Finance discipline.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality undergraduate and/or graduate Finance courses.
• Develop new Finance courses to strengthen the department curriculum.
• Conduct original research and publish in peer‑reviewed journals.
• Secure external funding for research projects.
• Participate in departmental, college, and university service activities.
• Provide mentorship to students and junior faculty members.

Required profile

• For Assistant Professor: MBA in Finance with at least 2 years of teaching experience.
• Ph.D. or UGC‑NET qualification is preferred.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching and research.
• For Associate Professor/Professor: Qualifications as per UGC norms.
