About the role
The Associate Customer Service Manager will lead branch operations and customer service for a rural banking outlet. This position ensures efficient, cost‑effective delivery of retail banking products while maintaining strict compliance with bank policies.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day branch administration, cash handling, and transaction clearing.
- Perform data entry for new accounts, create customer IDs, and verify KYC and loan documentation.
- Maintain high audit ratings and ensure adherence to compliance, lending, and operational risk standards.
- Drive quality initiatives, process optimisation, and the use of automation and digitisation tools to improve turnaround times and service level agreements.
- Act as a business partner to implement critical operational and regulatory practices across the branch.
Required profile
- Graduation in any discipline (BA, BCom, BBA, BSc, BTech, BE or equivalent).
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in banking or a related financial services environment.
