Finance Controller

About the role

Konecranes is seeking a Finance Controller to lead the preparation, reporting, and compliance of financial statements for its manufacturing operations. The role ensures alignment with group accounting guidelines, local GAAP, and statutory requirements while supporting internal audit and tax functions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and report monthly financials according to group timetable and local GAAP.
• Maintain robust internal controls and coordinate internal audit activities.
• Lead local and group audit processes within the Finance & Accounting team.
• Act as liaison between the local Finance & Accounting team and the FSSC team.
• Support statutory compliance timelines and manage direct/indirect tax obligations.
• Handle transfer pricing compliance, tax accounting, reconciliations, reporting, and assessments.
• Research and analyse financial data, providing insights and recommendations to management.
• Ensure awareness and adherence to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.

Required profile

• CA qualification (mandatory).
• Proven experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of local GAAP, tax regulations, and transfer pricing.
• Experience coordinating internal and external audits.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• SAP (Finance module).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Analytical ability.
