Finance Controller (India)

About the role

The Finance Controller for India will lead the finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting under US GAAP and India GAAP, driving internal controls, and supporting strategic initiatives across the global finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements and timely global close processes.
• Implement and maintain internal control policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with corporate accounting to adopt global accounting policies.
• Manage cost‑control initiatives and provide recommendations to senior management.
• Lead internal and external audit activities, including statutory and regulatory audits in multiple jurisdictions.
• Support annual budgeting, lender compliance, and other finance projects.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Commerce, MBA Finance, CPA, CA or equivalent.
• Minimum fifteen years of accounting and management experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, India GAAP, and multi‑currency accounting.
• Proven experience preparing global consolidated financial statements.
• Experience with technical accounting matters such as mergers and acquisitions.
