About the role
The F&B Controller is responsible for managing food and beverage costs within a hospitality operation, ensuring financial performance aligns with budgetary targets. This role combines cost analysis, inventory oversight, and reporting to support profitability and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Track daily food and beverage expenses, analyse variances against budgets, and identify waste or yield issues.
- Conduct regular physical stock takes, audit store levels and enforce FIFO stock rotation.
- Inspect incoming goods for correct quantity, quality and pricing, verifying against purchase orders.
- Prepare daily cost reports, monthly cost‑of‑sales statements and profitability analyses for management review.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in cost control within a hotel or restaurant environment.
