Family Physician – Primary Care in Kutch District

About the role

Mediaid Healthcare LLP is seeking a full‑time Family Physician to join its on‑site primary care team in the Kutch district. You will deliver comprehensive medical services to individuals and families across all ages, emphasizing preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations, physical examinations, and develop evidence‑based treatment plans.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Manage urgent and minor emergency conditions.
• Coordinate care with specialists and multidisciplinary team members.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
• Provide health promotion counseling to patients and families.
• Participate in community health initiatives and quality‑improvement activities.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with completed residency or training in Family Medicine.
• Current, unrestricted medical registration/license.
• Strong foundation in primary care and ability to manage a broad range of conditions.
• Experience or interest in community health and outreach, especially in underserved or semi‑urban/rural settings.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
