Facility Manager

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Facility Manager to oversee the maintenance and safety of our school campuses. This position ensures that all learning environments are clean, safe, and fully operational, supporting the wellbeing and success of our students and staff. The role involves coordinating internal maintenance teams and external service providers to keep facilities in optimal condition.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance staff, schedule their tasks, and coordinate external contractors for large‑scale repairs and projects.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure timely upkeep of all facilities.
• Manage the facilities budget, monitor expenditures, and identify cost‑effective solutions while maintaining quality standards.
• Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of school facilities through regular inspections, audits, and prompt corrective actions.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant safety regulations and procedures.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in facilities management, preferably within an educational environment, with a track record of maintaining safe and functional school buildings.
• Relevant professional certifications in facilities management or a related discipline (e.g., Certified Facility Manager, FM Global).

Required skills

• Proven expertise in facilities management, including maintenance planning and contractor coordination.
• In‑depth knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and procedures applicable to school settings.
