About the role
The Assistant Engineer – Electrical will support the maintenance and repair of school facilities, ensuring a safe learning environment in line with ISP’s safeguarding and health & safety principles. The role involves overseeing compliance, managing staff and resources, and coordinating large‑scale repairs with external contractors.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure the maintenance and repair of school electrical facilities, handling routine and emergency tasks.
- Oversee safety compliance and emergency preparedness, applying knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
- Manage facilities staff and resources, organizing schedules and optimizing equipment use.
- Coordinate with external contractors for large‑scale repairs and upgrades.
Required profile
- Proven experience in facilities management, preferably within an educational environment.
- Relevant certifications and solid knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
