Engineering Executive

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Engineering Executive to lead engineering initiatives across our manufacturing sites. The role focuses on improving operational efficiency, ensuring asset reliability, and embedding best‑in‑class engineering practices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects from concept to delivery, managing timelines, budgets and quality.
• Design and run preventative maintenance programs to maximise equipment uptime.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis on complex issues and implement corrective actions.
• Partner with production, quality and safety teams to drive continuous‑improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
• Mentor technicians and junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning.
• Assess and recommend new technologies and equipment to enhance processes.
• Prepare technical reports and present project updates to senior management.
• Manage vendor and contractor relationships for engineering services and procurement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably FMCG.
• Proven project‑management and maintenance‑planning experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership and team‑development skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality systems such as ISO or GMP.
