Engineering Application Engineer – Material Handling & Automation

About the role

Bosch Rexroth India is seeking an Engineering Application Engineer to support the design and implementation of material handling systems and assembly line automation solutions. The role focuses on translating customer requirements into practical, cost‑effective concepts and detailed engineering drawings.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct requirement studies and develop concept layouts for material handling and free‑flow conveyor systems.
• Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) and perform cost estimations.
• Create detailed General Arrangement (GA) and Design and Production (DAP) drawings for projects.
• Coordinate with the system installation team to provide on‑site design support.
• Support value‑selling activities by understanding customer needs and presenting technical solutions.

Required profile

• B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in material handling, assembly line automation, or related fields.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with 3D CAD software.
• Good command of MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with SAP (optional).
