Electrician – Level III (Industrial Maintenance)

About the role

The Level III Electrician will be responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability of machine shop equipment in a high‑performance manufacturing environment. You will work closely with production teams to ensure zero quality defects, zero safety incidents, and continuous improvement of processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance and breakdown repairs on CNC machines, SPM equipment, and related electrical systems.
• Manage spare‑part inventory to minimise machine downtime.
• Support initiatives to achieve zero quality defects and zero safety incidents.
• Maintain 5S and TPM scores through disciplined housekeeping and preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with discipline norms, LOTO procedures, risk assessments, and work‑permit requirements.
• Monitor plant‑wide issues, update breakdown history for analysis, and drive continuous‑improvement actions from Kaizen, TPM and CI rounds.
• Maintain machine safety, interface with other equipment, and enforce safety practices.

• Hands‑on experience with CNC machines and SPM equipment.

• Preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.
• Factory automation and control‑system programming.
• Machine programming for production optimisation.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
