Electrician - Level III

About the role

The Electrician Level III will be responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability of machine shop equipment. This role focuses on ensuring zero quality defects, zero safety incidents, and high operational efficiency through proactive maintenance and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance and troubleshoot machine shop breakdowns.
• Manage spare parts inventory to minimise machine downtime.
• Support initiatives to achieve zero quality defects and zero safety incidents.
• Maintain 5S and TPM scores, and ensure preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
• Monitor plant day‑to‑day issues and update breakdown history for analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement by resolving Kaizen, TPM and CI action items.
• Uphold housekeeping standards and workforce discipline.
• Ensure machine safety, proper interfacing, and compliance with LOTO risk assessments and work permits.

• Knowledge of CNC machines and SPM equipment.
• Proficiency with electrical systems, assembly and test‑cell equipment.
• Experience with LOTO procedures and risk assessments.
• Electrical system troubleshooting.
• Factory automation and control systems implementation.
• Machine programming for manufacturing equipment.
• Broad manufacturing knowledge and continuous‑improvement mindset.
