dSPACE HiL Test Engineer – ECU Test

About the role

We are looking for a dSPACE HiL Test Engineer to lead ECU test campaigns at our Bengaluru centre. The role involves setting up hardware‑in‑the‑loop environments, scripting tests, and ensuring functional verification of automotive ECUs.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and maintain dSPACE ControlDesk and ConfigurationDesk for HiL testing.
• Prepare test campaigns including SW flashing, ECU parameter updates and measurement setup.
• Develop and execute ECU test scripts (e.g., Trace Tronics) using MATLAB/Simulink and CANoe.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot test failures, identify root causes and produce detailed reports.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams using Agile processes and JIRA.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of experience in automotive verification and validation, especially HiL testing.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
