Director / Senior Manager, HR (India)

About the role

Entrupy is seeking a senior HR leader to own the People function for its Indian operations. Based in Mangalore (with proximity to Bangalore), you will act as the primary HR partner for the region, aligning people strategy with business goals and supporting a fast‑growing, globally distributed team.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main HR point of contact for India, building strong relationships with business leaders.
• Partner with managers on performance management, employee engagement, team effectiveness and organizational design.
• Coach and develop managers, fostering leadership capabilities and a culture of continuous feedback.
• Own and continuously improve HR policies, processes and compliance with local labour laws.
• Collaborate closely with the HR Manager and Mangalore Site Manager to execute compliance, operations and culture initiatives at the site.
• Work with the global HR team to align regional initiatives with company‑wide people programs.
• Support APAC teams, including Japan, and navigate diverse cultural contexts.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading HR functions in India, preferably at a senior or director level.
• Hands‑on leadership style with the ability to execute strategic initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience working across APAC and familiarity with Japanese business environments.
• Strong knowledge of Indian labour regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
