DevSecOps Engineer

About the role

Capgemini Engineering is looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to join its Drives Engineering Group in Pune. You will help build secure, scalable, and automated development environments that enable engineering teams to deliver high‑quality products.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, develop and maintain virtual machine images for servers, workstations and test systems.
• Design, automate and support CI/CD pipelines across VMware Cloud Management platforms and physical workstations.
• Create secure, automated application packages using Chocolatey.
• Develop reusable automation tools with PowerShell and Python.
• Implement VMware vRealize Blueprints, Automation and Orchestrator to deliver self‑service catalogs.
• Mentor junior engineers, act as Scrum Master or Product Owner when needed, and liaise between IT and business leadership.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in DevOps, IT or server administration.
• Hands‑on experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and SAFe development practices.
