Development Engineer 2 – Software Development

About the role

As a Development Engineer 2 you will write and maintain clean, efficient code for a variety of software components, supporting the design and innovation of new applications that align with business goals. You will implement testing frameworks, document development processes, and analyze integration needs while collaborating closely with Quality Assurance to ensure high‑quality releases.

Key responsibilities

• Write and maintain efficient code for software components, adhering to development best practices.
• Support the design and development of new applications that meet business objectives.
• Implement unit and integration testing frameworks to validate software quality.
• Document design, deployment procedures, and development processes for knowledge sharing.
• Analyze integration requirements and plan system architecture to meet technical specifications.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure applications meet technical and functional requirements.
• Troubleshoot software issues and provide resolutions to improve performance and user satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent combination of coursework and experience).
• 2–5 years of relevant software development experience.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and variable schedules as needed.
• Consistent, punctual attendance and independent judgment on significant matters.
