Desktop Support Engineer

About the role

Join our IT team as a Desktop Support Engineer, providing first‑line technical assistance to end‑users in a fast‑paced office environment in Pune. You will be responsible for maintaining desktop hardware, software, and network connectivity, ensuring smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑level desktop and technical support to end users.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and basic LAN/Wi‑Fi issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and standard applications.
• Support Office 365 activities such as password resets, mailbox assistance, and user management.
• Perform system formatting, software installations, OS troubleshooting, and regular health checks.
• Maintain IT asset inventory, tracking allocation and documentation of equipment.
• Manage support tickets, ensuring timely resolution in line with SLA commitments.
• Coordinate with senior IT team members for escalation and additional support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Ability to work onsite Monday‑Friday in an office setting.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and good communication with end users.
