Design Engineer

About the role

Proserv, a global controls technology company, is looking for a Design Engineer to create and review optimized general arrangement (GA) drawings for water handling, chemical injection, and related equipment used in the energy sector. The role focuses on layout, structural, and fabrication design of skids, tanks, and rotating equipment while ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review GA drawings for WHCP, CIS and other equipment, covering pneumatic/hydraulic circuits, rotating equipment and instrumentation.
• Design layout and base‑frame structures, piping/tubing arrangements, and generate structural fabrication drawings.
• Create engineering drawings for skids, tank skids and pump skids, including 3D modeling of WHCP and chemical injection systems.
• Draft mechanical drawings for rotating equipment such as dosing pumps, motors and tanks.
• Produce instrument tubing and piping GA drawings in line with ASME B31.3 and B16.5 specifications.
• Review and improve junior designers’ outputs, ensuring quality across all disciplines.
• Perform BoM calculations for procurement based on P&ID and GA drawings.
• Support bid‑stage and detailed‑design P&ID preparation under engineering guidance.
