Design Engineer - Hull

About the role

We are looking for a Design Engineer specialized in hull structures to join our engineering team and work closely with clients on shipbuilding and offshore projects. You will be responsible for delivering detailed hull designs while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop hull structural models for detailed design across various projects.
• Assist team members with hull‑design related tasks and ensure design quality.
• Complete detailed designs using 3D ship design software.
• Coordinate work, review drawings, provide coaching, and support while managing your own tasks.
• Contribute to hull, foundation, and related vessel details.
• Maintain close coordination of all engineering activities within a project.
• Be ready to relocate to client sites domestically or internationally on short notice.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the organization.

Required profile

• Graduate in shipbuilding, mechanical engineering or naval architecture.
• 2–3 years of experience in shipbuilding or offshore design.
• Experience with 3D ship design software such as Aveva Marine, Cadmatic or Ship Constructor.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• High attention to detail and a drive for perfection.
• Willingness to continue developing technical knowledge.
• Commitment to a minimum of one year of service with the company.
