About the role
The Décor Sales Officer will lead the store team in driving sales for the décor category, ensuring operational excellence and a delightful customer experience in our Indore showroom.
Key responsibilities
- Drive sales through store staff and achieve store‑level GMV and revenue targets.
- Manage and coach store staff, who report directly to the Sales Officer, to maintain high productivity.
- Maintain customer satisfaction indices and convert footfall into sales.
- Lead on‑ground demand‑generation activities and dealer servicing.
- Maintain Dealer Health Cards, resolve issues with relevant stakeholders, and manage dealer accounts for sales and material follow‑ups.
- Serve as the single point of contact for order servicing and issue resolution across product lines (Sleek, Bath, UPVC, etc.).
- Ensure store hygiene standards and operational excellence.
- Promote effective use of digital tools to enhance customer conversion.
- Coordinate team training, grooming, and recruitment in partnership with the central training team.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a senior salesperson in a home décor showroom.
- Ability to manage multiple customers at various stages of the sales funnel.
- Outstanding negotiation abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
- Team player with strong leadership qualities.
