About the role

The University is seeking a Dean to lead its School of Engineering with a focus on Computer Science & Engineering. The Dean will be the chief academic and administrative authority, driving strategic growth, research excellence, and industry collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a strategic plan for undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs.
• Promote academic rigor, research productivity, and innovation in emerging technologies.
• Lead faculty recruitment, development, and performance evaluation.
• Oversee accreditation processes (NBA/NAAC) and improve institutional rankings.
• Foster partnerships with industry, government, and research organisations.
• Manage budgets, resources, and administrative functions of the school.

Required profile

• Minimum BTech/MTech/Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering from a recognised university.
• At least 15 years of teaching, research, or administrative experience, including 5 years in a senior academic leadership role.
• Strong record of publications in Scopus/Web of Science indexed journals.
• Demonstrated success in securing patents, funded projects, and industry collaborations.
